We display a number of other logos in addition to our own diamond badge. They are the symbols of organisations that regularly inspect aspects of our work and provide parents with externally verified evidence of our high standards.
Quality of Extended Services
This quality mark has been awarded at "established level" for the quality of the provision of Extended Services within the Tuxford Family Collaboration. This covers the work done in our feeder primary schools and here at Tuxford Academy.
The technology status symbol indicates that we have invested in additional staff, many more computers and a wider community role for the benefit of our students.
Inspectors from the Office For Standards in Education observe lessons and management procedures to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
There is an exceptionally positive and happy atmosphere at the school. The real reason for this atmosphere, we feel is that you have an excellent group of staff, both teachers and support staff. It is rare to find pupils enjoying their learning so much.

Investors In People
The Investor in People (IIP) laurel leaves verify the quality of staff leadership and consultation in Tuxford Academy. Everyone is an equal member of an efficient and effective team.
Tuxford Academy were awarded Artsmark Gold status in April 2014. At the time, Tuxford Academy were one of only six secondary schools in Nottinghamshire to achieve the accreditation (which is the highest possible Artsmark award). Artsmark Gold signifies an establishment with exemplary arts provision in all areas. It takes into account the range of arts experiences on offer both inside and out of the classroom, throughout the school and wider community, as well as attainment and student leadership opportunities.
Investors in Pupils
Tuxford Academy is proud to announce that it is the first secondary academy in Nottinghamshire to gain the Investors in Pupils award, a National Quality Mark. The assessment day, 5th November, involved a student led tour to visually check evidence of and gain an initial overview of the ‘Investors in Pupils’ ethos and environment and interviews with adults and students. This programme focuses on developing each individual student’s understanding of the role they play in their own future and in the future success of the academy.
