The school proudly displays a number of other logos in addition to its own diamond badge. They are the symbols of organisations that regularly inspect aspects of our work and provide parents with externally verified evidence of our high standards. The Quality Marks have to be earned and they are not given to many. When we first won the Charter Mark, for example, we were one of only 25 schools in the whole country to gain recognition.
Quality of Extended Services
This quality mark has been awarded at "established level" for the quality of the provision of Extended Services within the Tuxford Family Collaboration. This covers the work done in our feeder primary schools and here at Tuxford Academy.
Technology College
The technology status symbol indicates that we have invested in additional staff, many more computers and a wider community role for the benefit of our students.
Ofsted (Outstanding)
Inspectors from the Office For Standards in Education observe lessons and management procedures to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
