Year 7

The first term is spent acquiring skills in all the areas of technology The students then follow a carousel of 6 projects, loosely based on the areas in Design and Technology (Electronics, Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles) following the basic concepts of “Mainly Making, Mainly Designing and Mainly Thinking”    

Year 8

The first term is spent acquiring skills in all the areas of technology The students then follow a carousel of 6 projects, loosely based on the areas in Design and Technology (Electronics, Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles) following the basic concepts of “Mainly Making, Mainly Designing and Mainly Thinking”  At the end of the year the students opt for 3 subjects to follow in more depth inYear 9.  

Year 9

All students opt for 3 of 6 courses: Electronics, engineering, food, graphics, resistant materials, textiles. At week 30 students then opt for the course that they wish to follow at level 2  

Year 10  

The courses available are as follows:   L2  Food based course, BTEC L2 Engineering, GCSE Electronic Products, GCSE Graphics Product ,GCSE Resistant Materials & GCSE Textiles  

Year 11

The courses available are as follows:   GCSE Food Technology, L2 BTEC Engineering, L2 BTEC Hospitality & Catering, GCSE Graphic Products, GCSE Resistant Materials, GCSE Textiles & GCSE Electronics  

Year 12

The courses available are as follows:   GCE AS level Product Design, GCSE AS level Textiles & BTEC L3 Vehicle Technology  

Year 13

The courses available are as follows:    GCE A Level Product Design,  GCSE A level Textiles  & BTEC L3 Vehicle Technology
