In-year applications

If you are thinking about changing your child's school and have already made the decision to send them to Tuxford Academy, please first check that you are eligible for a place by reading our admissions policy.

If you are eligible, you can apply online at via the Citizens Portal or by calling 0300 500 80 80. If you apply online, a decision will be sent to you by email. If you apply over the phone, your response will come in the post.

If your request is accepted, we will contact you to arrange a suitable start date.

If, however, your request is refused, the Local Authority will write to you, giving the reasons for refusal and information on how to appeal. Please see our appeals process for further guidance.
