Uniform Standards

"But everybody wears this….."

                                "The teachers don't mind…"

"My mate wears this and nobody ever says anything…"

Ever come across your children justifying what they wear or want to wear at school by saying this kind of thing? As parents, you should be assured that compromising the high standards of uniform that are expected will bring your children into conflict with school rules. They will be in a very small minority who find themselves incurring sanctions, thus eroding their positive relationship with staff in the school.

Students are expected to wear their uniform with pride and in such a way that reflects the ethos of high standards and achievement at Tuxford School. Smartness, health and safety considerations and common sense form the basis of the expected standards of appearance.
